One can assume they have something to do with one another. Perhaps the cats were the carriers of the sickness, or were a distraction from it. How or why they came aboard is still a mystery.

I want to accommodate the unit's needs and personal growth in whatever way I can, while still keeping it cohesive. Balance is the key to succeeding or failing, in my opinion.
