FROM: phantomhive.ciel@cdc.org Be more specific then. I've been temporarily assigned to this unit and have been told you are the unit leader. Autopsy reports were said to go to unit leaders.
FROM: phantomhive.ciel@cdc.org I can't do thorough investigations without looking at the reports.
FROM: phantomhive.ciel@cdc.org I saw the bodies already. And one on Selena.
And I cannot ascertain motives unless you communicate them to me properly. There is still a chance that this incident was carried out by someone on board. Or at least assisted by someone.
FROM: wurstel.ferdinand@cdc.org
But fair enough. Tell me your thoughts once you've looked it over.
[It takes some time for a response, probably because he's thinking, but, granted, he is also slow as molasses trying to use the blackglass.]
FROM: phantomhive.ciel@cdc.org This autopsy report isn't detailed enough. There were scratches on one of the bodies, but no punctures I could see. [He kinda didn't touch the bodies cause ew.] Can those toxins be on claws?
It is a bit lacking in detail, but it was all I was given. It seems strange to me that the cause of death was undetermined given their findings,as well. But I'm not an expert.

Claws are a possibility. Do you believe it was an animal of some sort?
FROM: phantomhive.ciel@cdc.org I didn't at first because the bodies hadn't look as if something had killed for food. I'm not sure now. The one on Selena was unrecognizable.
FROM: phantomhive.ciel@cdc.org Something could have startled it.
[A minute or so later:]
FROM: phantomhive.ciel@cdc.org Someone I spoke with implied other people are missing.
It's possible I suppose. But it would take some time and I'm not certain we have long enough to make one. Aside from the neurotoxic effects, the early onset of necrosis is even more worrisome.
FROM: wurstel.ferdinand@cdc.org
We may be looking at something that is both toxic and harboring deadly bacteria.

I would be the cache so to speak. Why do you need the autopsy report?

To read.

Terribly sorry, you'll need to give me a better reason than that.

What are neurotoxins? They affect the nerves?
[He is but a simple Victorian, but at least he knows enough Latin to kind of make guesses. Toxin he knows. Neuro not quite as much.]
no subject
Yes. It can cause paralysis and death in and of itself if it reaches the brain.

I'm leaning in that direction as well but until we have more details.... it's difficult to say.
FROM: wurstel.ferdinand@cdc.org
There are people unaccounted for as of yet, yes.

Then we should concern ourselves with trying to identify it. How it got here can come after.

Can a cure be made from the toxins?
no subject
I'm inclined to agree.

Try for a cure anyway.
[He thinks about this for several minutes. What does he always do when people turn up murdered?
He goes to the Undertaker.]
FROM: phantomhive.ciel@cdc.org
The quickest way to finding a killer is through the victims. We need more information, or we wait for more to turn up.

I need to consider what we already have. I'll contact you if I think of anything else.

I cannot make any promises.
[But it might be worth looking into at least. He'll file it away to ask someone on the medic team later.]
FROM: wurstel.ferdinand@cdc.org
I would like it if you did. And be careful. Stick to a group and do not go anywhere alone.
